Josh has worked in Financial Services since 2013, beginning his career with Novia Financial as a Dealing Administrator before working his way up to Dealing Manager in early 2016, responsible for the trading of over £5bn worth of investments, instructing up to 4000 trades a day. His time at Novia Financial has given him a depth of operational knowledge of the Wrap Platform industry which he has brought with him to his new role as Operations Manager at Novia Global since April 2019.
Josh is passionate about delivering quality service and ensuring that a focus on the client is at the heart of every process the operations team complete.
Outside of work, Josh is a keen cook and has recently taken up making charcuterie. He is also a big music fan and loves watching his favorite football team Liverpool.
Client Service Executive
Jon joined Novia Global in September 2016 following a 15 year career within the insurance industry.
Jon has worked in a variety of areas including underwriting, broking, and claims handling across both personal and commercial products.
Jon has a passion to deliver exceptional service; and is motivated by both the belief he has in the Novia Global proposition, and the inspiring team he gets to work with on a daily basis.
Outside of the office Jon is a keen photographer, has a passing interest in physics and mathematics, drinks too much Irn Bru, and loves a good barbecue.
Rachael started in financial services working for an Independent Financial Advisers before joining Novia Financial in January 2018 as part of the Client Services team. Rachael then made the move to join Novia Global in October 2019 continuing her work within the Client Services role.
At Novia Global Rachael primarily works on the International SIPP liaising with providers and scheme administers on transfers and processing instructions.
In her spare time Rachael runs a Cub Scout pack, organising weekly meetings and attending camps. On the weekends she enjoys long hikes and going on adventures in the countryside by both foot and pedal power.
Client Services Administrator – Key Account Support
Henry recently joined Novia Global in 2019 having recently completed a four year BA(Hons) Economics degree with a year in industry at Bournemouth university and has previously worked in both accounting and project management roles.
Henry thoroughly enjoys building strong relationships and handling the day-to-day challenge of a diverse range of queries.
Outside of work Henry likes to keep active with going to the gym, playing golf, or trying to play football. Henry is also a keen photographer.
After studying mathematics at the University of the West of England, Jake developed a love of pies whilst working at Lovett Pies before beginning his career in Financial Services at Novia Global.
Jake enjoys that each day is different and has a new set of challenges to go along with it whereby the client is always at the forefront.
Outside of work, Jake enjoys hitting the fairway, and also an occasional polo match.
Institutional Business Manager
Alex graduated from Lancaster University with a BSc Business Studies & Economics degree, and an MSc in Marketing and International Management from Reading University.
Alex has now worked in the financial services industry for 7 years, having initially worked on the Aegon platform project. After a brief stint at Friends Life he moved back to Novia Global to help deliver and develop the offshore platform.
Alex is responsible for looking after both the Fund Manager Relationships and Discretionary Fund Manager relationships for Novia Global and is also Secretary for the Investment Committee which meets on a monthly basis.
Outside of work Alex has a keen interest in football and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
CASS & Reconciliation Specialist
Hamid has over 10 years experience in the Financial Services industry, initially working for Skandia’s Investment Control Team and more recently as Financial Controller and CF10a in the offshore platform industry.
As a CASS and reconciliation specialist Hamid has a wealth of knowledge in Client Money and Asset regulation, ensuring our continued compliance with the evolving FCA rules designed to protect our clients’ assets and money.
Hamid holds an Accounting degree, is fully AAT qualified, and is a part-qualified CIMA accountant.
Outside the office, Hamid enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, reading about cars, CASS, and playing with gadgets.
